Forming habits is about moving forward, the only constant is change, the past has gone, like flights and hotel rooms, you cannot go back to them once the time has past. Now you can look back to review and learn, and this can help in moving forward. As you build habits you are learning to transition, you are changing from one state to another. My writing state is changing from an only do it when I need to, to that of a daily occurrence (not yet a habit, 55 days to go) My brain now asks me what I will be focusing on for the day and the coming days, and the length of my focus when focusing is forming in to 45min blocks. My drinking and eating have improved as the daily water is up, I wait an hour before coffee and I am conscious of the food and the amount I eat. Some basic transitions around these have made me feel better and given me more enjoyment of the actual physical products. So I am transitioning to who and what I want to become in quite an orderly manner.
Transitioning and Quantum Superpositions…
I am in the state and also between states if that makes any sense. You have to be, to live, but you also have to be changing, to become. Two states? The usual and the new. Like Schrodinger’s cat, am I in Quantum Superposition and will I continue to be as I am always moving forward yet I am still what I am? Will my reality now never resolve into one possibility or the other. (I understand that this usually relates to life and death and a point of being alive and dead at the same time, so apologies on the dumbing down, I just quite like the analogy)
Schrodinger`s cat Web2 and Web3…
Is the Web in different states? Without a doubt, forces are at work way beyond our comprehension to understand what is happening. We can learn different aspects and we can join into certain innovations, we can start to control our own data, but the ideal of decentralisation is being driven via centralisation and people are purporting to be alive and dead at the same time. Join the Crypto revolution, fight the man, own your own destiny…all via our great portal, owned by this billionaire, who has some very resolved possibilities of what he wants to become.
The difficulty of possibility when it takes work…
Web3 is a great place, I love it. But its not easy to understand. I use exchanges with a great UX as its centralised. I have started writing on SubStack and Medium because they are simple and easy to do. But I also have staked tokens, have used decentralised exchanges, minted NFT`s, exchanged tokens via bridges on different layers, set up a Ethereum address and own a penthouse in the metaverse. As I go through the transition of change I am willing to work and learn and understand and get it wrong, a lot of people simply are not. This is why the transition to Web3 will take gargantuan effort to become established as true change is difficult, it takes work and people tend to go for the easier option of half and half, two states, quantum superposition. Do I want to bridge from layer 0 to layer 1, then exchange tokens to yield farm / stake and then as I`m in the liquidity pool, do I buy a governance token for voting rights on a DAO? Or do I want to buy some ETH, from a referral code on a centralised exchange, via my Revolut card and tell people I`m part of the brave new digital world. Many are in a state of Quantum Superposition, they are both alive and dead with Web3, as to the majority it is as difficult to understand as the quantum mechanics that explains them…
Thank you for your time…
nearly 1/4 of the way through congrats :)
