Day 8 has been that day, the day when although your brain knows you are making changes albeit Atomic, it just cannot be bothered! The water is there, the 20 mins of daylight first thing and the morning coffee after a hour are there, but what else?
Well today nothing…
It has felt like a poor crypto scam today, little thought attempting to phish some action. But fortunately as I wasn`t feeling it I didn`t give anything away.
Not your Keys Not your Crypto…
A well know saying and a very true one as people from a number of “decentralised” NOT… exchanges have found out. So this is a very short post to re-iterate a important point. Do not be lazy with security..
A Nigerian Prince you say…
Well in crypto they have moved down the scale, no princes, but students that have some ETH or BTC locked up and if they could deposit funds to access it, then they are happy to share. Or its a frame for that NFT that has magically appeared in your wallet. This is one major difference with Crypto fraud, they put things in your wallet “magically” to steal things from your wallet?
Just take a few moments to think…
If you are receiving things like these, just think think for a second. Why? pause take a breath, if it is a proper hack then the funds are already gone! But the lazy attempts you shouldn`t fall for. Keep the passwords safe, use a password manager, don`t hold everything in one wallet, check the exchange that you are using, what is the rating on a reputable site, look at a cold wallet?
With great FOMO comes great fraud…
You will miss out, you will never buy the bottom, nor sell the top, enjoy the ride and if you do miss a real opportunity, the market moves that fast, that miss will prepare you to start catching them. Think when dealing in this market, take some time and think. Panic acceptance of financial freedom promises, or things to good to be true, will result in an unequal and very very opposite reaction!
Thank you for your time…
